EXHIBITION VI

Five international jury members had the difficult task to select 47 works from 169 entrees by 147 artist from 19 European countries. The selection criteria were: originality, artistic quality and expression and the selectionsdays were 22 and 23 March 2010.

The jury members for EAQ VI Claire Benn, United Kingdom - textile artist and teacher Katriina Flensburg, Sweden - textile artist and teacher Leslie Gabriëlse, the Netherlands - painter and textile artist Caroline Haarman, Belgium - art historian Olga Prins-Lukowski the Netherlands - curator and textile artist Each jury member is also invited to enter a work. EAQ VI showcases 51 contemporary works made by leading European art quilters. The exhibition will be traveling around the world, with museum venues in United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and Denmark. See Agenda for the compleet exhibition schedule.
