Four international jury members had the difficult task to select 44 works from 151 entrees from 21 European countries. The selection criteria were: originality, artistic quality and expression and the selectionsdays were 26 and 27 March 2012.

  • Eszter Bornemisza, Hungary - textile artist
  • Henk Lijding, the Netherlands - MA, art historican
  • Olga Prins-Lukowski the Netherlands - freelance curator and textile artist

Each jury member is also invited to enter a work.

EAQ VII showcases 47 contemporary works made by leading European art quilters. The exhibition will be traveling around the world, with museum venues in United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany.
